Our Pastor
Reverend Shalamark Simpson was born in Atlanta Ga., to Joyce (Person) Simpson and the late Robert David Simpson Sr. He is the husband of 24 Years to First Lady Pamela (Rogers) Simpson. Pastor Simpson is a Christian and believes that God is the Supreme Authority and Ruler whom he serves diligently. He believes in the Triune Godhead, God the Father, God the Son in the unique person of Jesus Christ; and God the Holy Spirit, who is the Navigator and Comforter. He confessed openly and believes precisely that Jesus is his personal Lord and Savior, who died, was buried. and rose again. Pastor Simpson acknowledges that he is indebted to God and strives at an exhausting pace daily to offer Jesus Christ to the world.
Pastor Simpson is presently the Pastor of First Baptist Cedar Bluff. His Ministerial experience includes Sunday School teacher, Youth Director, Transportation/Bus Driver, and Evangelism Team Leader at Josey Creek M. B. Church in Starkville, MS. He’s a member of the Oktibbeha County Ministerial Alliance; Care Home Ministry Rolling Hill Facility September 2003 to December 2007; Assistant Pastor of Josey Creek M. B. Church in Starkville, MS from December 2003 to November 2007; Outreach Ministry-Evangelistic Ministry, January 2005 to November 2007; Prison Ministry in Marshall County Correctional Facility December 2007; Certified teacher for the National Baptist USA, Incorporated, State Convention, State Congress, Whitefield District and Certificate of Progress Program; Classes includes Synoptic Gospel, the Gospel of John, Baptist Doctrine, Developing Your Spiritual Gifts, the Doctrine of Holy Spirit, How the Bible Came to Be, and Spiritual Formation
Pastor Simpson is a Graduate of B. L. Moor High School in Crawford, MS. He received a certificate in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Theological Seminary; Diploma from Congress of Christian Education Theological Program; Bachelor of Theology in 2009 and Master of Theology in 2011 from Christian Life School of Theology (Beacon University) in Columbus, GA. Pastor Simpson received his Associate of Arts (Criminal Justice) Degree from Itawamba Community College in May of 2012; Associate of Arts (Interdisciplinary Study) Degree in December 2014, Bachelor of Science (Science and Religion) in May 2015, Master of Arts (Theological Studies) Degree in May 2016, and a Master of Arts (Executive Leadership-Business) December 2018 and a Master of Divinity 2022 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Pastor Simpson is currently studying for his Ph.D. in Bible Exposition/Education (All but Dissertation [ABD] Status) at Liberty University.
Pastor Simpson's desire is to see people lives transformed into Christ-likeness and his mission is to “OFFER CHRIST TO THE WORLD”

My name is Anthony Jefferson, and I am married to Deaconness Robin Jefferson. We have three children: Rolundius, Ra'una, and Rija, as well as a dog named Roxy. As the owner and operator of Affordable Painting LLC, I have worked as a painter for over 20 years. Additionally, I serve as a Deacon, member of the praise team, and youth leader at First Baptist Cedar Bluff.
Greetings from First Baptist Cedar Bluff. I am Deacon Marcus Quinn; I’m a Proud father of three lovely daughters that the Father has blessed me with. I’m a ten year member of FBCB. Currently I serve on the finance committee, youth department, adult Sunday school teacher and director of the evangelism ministry. Presently teaching is my primary calling. I invite you to join us to peer into the depths of God's word.

My name is Ra’Una Robinson, and my path is one marked by dedication to learning and a deep commitment to service. As a proud graduate of Northwest Mississippi Community College, I hold an Associate of Science degree and have successfully completed the rigorous Respiratory Therapy program. These achievements have set the foundation for my continuing educational pursuits at Mississippi State University, where I am currently advancing toward a pre-med major. With my sights set on a career as an Anesthesiologist, I am driven by a passion to deepen my understanding and expertise in the healthcare field—equipping myself with the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Yet, my journey is defined not only by academic and professional growth, but by an active engagement in my faith community. At First Baptist Cedar Bluff, I am honored to serve as a member of the media team, praise team, the usher ministry, and praise dance performance coordinator. With a spirit anchored in faith and energized by purpose, I am guided by the conviction that true fulfillment is found in uplifting others and living out the call to serve.
